I am a recent graduate from The George Washington University's School of Media and Public Affairs, where I majored in journalism and mass communication and minored in psychology and religion. I currently am a fellow at News21, where I am traveling the country to report on natural disasters. In the past, I've worked as an intern at Meet the Press, a researcher and reporter for the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University, an assistant news editor at The GW Hatchet – the independent student newspaper at GW – and as an editorial intern at Street Sense, a street newspaper in D.C. Through my experience, I have learned how to pitch strong stories, collect strong research, conduct solid interviews and write comprehensive stories. Most importantly, I have a passion for journalism which drives me in all of my work.
